When I was exploring in the Rocky Mountains I almost walked into a bear. I was bushwhacking through some dense bushes. I pushed through a big clump of them and fell into a clearing right next to a huge bear. My feet started running away before my eyes knew what was happening. It was awesome but terrifying.

Just this past weekend, we found the deepest sinkhole in South Africa! It’s 230 ft. straight down! We had heard rumors that someone had died in it, so when m y husband (who was the first to descend it) yelled back up that he had “dead batteries” (in his light), we all thought he said had a “dead *body*”! That made for quite the excitement!

I came face to face with a very angry bull (male) elephant in South Africa while exploring. It was exciting in the sense that it was terrifying.
