Question: zoe have you always enjoyed bugs or is this a recent thing

I always enjoyed bugs, but my academic interest in them has been recent. When i was ~5-20 years old I liked bugs, but I also liked salamanders and plants and chipmunks and all sorts of other critters in the woods. I was also pretty obsessed with dinosaurs. In the last few years I have noticed how particularly cool bugs are. I spent a lot of time trying out different types of science like forestry and genetics. A kind entomologist let me volunteer and work with bees in her lab when i was a junior in college. That is when I got hooked on bugs.
