  I have never done experiments with them. They can make a tasty meal for a mantis so sometimes i get them to feed to my pet insects. The lab next door to where I work uses crickets all the time, they constantly escape so I usually have crickets in the lab and in my office. Its a lot more fun than the time they let a scorpion escape.
