Question: How do bats communicate with each other?

We don’t know for sure, but we definitely know that they do. It also depends on the bat. Some bats will “communicate” with each other using echolocation, like they use to navigate – they’ll use slightly different frequencies (tuning their voices like a radio) to scramble other enemy bats, find friendly bats, or do both at the same time. Other bats we know have complex body language or series of chirps that we can hear to maintain order and find their families in huge colonies within caves.
