  I have thought about it seriously, and I even have taught doctors and nurses! I really like the possibility of helping people who are sick, especially terminally ill children. Arrrgh! Now you’re making me second guess my decision to go into research!

  NEVER! Med school is super stressful, competitive and scary. I like being in an environment where there is lots of friendly collaboration instead of backstabbing.

  Actually, as a scientist, we often are different types of doctors – we have what are called PhDs instead of MDs (medical doctors). I never thought about being a medical doctor seriously, though!
