I’ve been able to travel A LOT for my research! I’ve been on 5 continents to collect data and spent 4 months traveling around Europe and South America! I now live in South Africa, and it’s all because that’s where my research led me!

I don’t get to travel for my research. I got offered a job studying ants in the Himalayas but I turned it down to go to Cornell. I do travel a lot for fun with my family. Do you like to travel?
There are jobs in entomology for people who like to travel. Museums will send you all around the world to collect cool insects.

I travel a couple times a year for research to go to conferences and meet other scientists. I used to travel to do the research itself – to Australia, South Africa, and Mexico. This year I’m going to Brazil!
