• Question: do you know what is more microscopic than clay?

      Clay particles are VERY small (less than 0.002 mm), so there aren’t any kinds of soil that are smaller. However, there are LOTS of non-geological things that are a LOT smaller, like DNA (2 nanometers wide), for instance. So, really, it depends on what you would like to compare your clay to! 🙂
