  I actually have never seen a scarecrow like the one you see in “The Wizard of Oz” or in other movies…EXCEPT in the movies! I’ve seen plastic owls in fields that are meant to scare off other animals, though. And I’ve definitely been LOST in a cornfield, which is VERY scary!
