Question: Howdo you know if their is a cliff in font of you?

Usually, you’ll see it from a little ways off, but here in South Africa, we have massive sinkholes that are often camouflaged by surrounding tall grass so that you can’t see them until you’re literally standing on the edge! One of the scariest things about these is that they are big enough to swallow houses and cars, and if you’re off-roading and not careful, you could easily drive right into one and never know what hit you! One good way to tell, though is to see if birds or bats spring up from almost nowhere, because then, there might be some kind of precipice near by!
