I don’t think there’s another group of mammals that is as cool as bats are – they live almost everywhere, can do almost anything, and are just such crazy, bizarre animals.
I’ve always been very nosey about people and the world around me. Biological anthropology allows me to satisfy my curiosity about both of these areas! Just about every other kind of science can be fit into my field somehow, which gives me a lot of flexibility. It also means that I am able to collaborate with a great many kinds of other scientists to never stop learning!
