It’s pretty thrilling, but it just puts more pressure on getting all your questions answered. It’s also a huge honor to still be standing after facing so many great questions from young scientists and students.
It’s freaking scary! I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I really do hope that I win since I’ve been busy fantasizing about all my outreach and looking up ways to improve my idea.
I do wish we could get feedback on what we’re doing right, and what we need to improve. The most important thing in the end is that we learn to improve our science communication for young people so that you all can take our places in the future, and do the science that we could only dream of right now!
