• Question: How do you feel after accomplishing a big task?

      It’s an incredible feeling, especially if you can see and remember all the little things and hard days that led up to that moment. Producing one huge piece of work, or finishing one task, is one of the best things about being a scientist.

      Really realllllly tired. Jeff is right though. It is a wonderful feeling of pride and accomplishment, knowing that your effort, your skill, your knowledge made something wonderful.

      Depending on the task, sometimes I feel like a BEAST, exhilarated, and ready to power through tons more, but usually, I just feel relieved, tired, and like I deserve a night of junk food and binge-watching “Game of Thrones.”
